REAL WORLD EXPERIENCE
Our Student Internship Program works to match students who excel in our training programs with paid internships with large and small businesses in the Information Technology and Computer industries. Companies that participate by providing internship positions benefit by gaining early exposure to potential future employees who are already familiar with their work environment. Colorado Futuretek has facilitated paid summer internships at the following companies and organizations: RTD, Triunity Engineering & Management, SparqU, Gilmore Construction, RTL Networks, Empowercom, True Light Baptist Church Office, The Friendship School, and Colorado Futuretek.
CHANGING THE TIDE
African Americans have by far the highest rate of unemployment in Colorado. Our programs address this problem by helping these students obtain marketable skills that will enable them to compete effectively in the global workforce.

GROWTH!
Our Student Internship Program is growing! Our first student intern was hired in 2011. For the summer of 2017, Colorado Futuretek facilitated the placement of 12 student interns.
HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS
What does Colorado Futuretek do to facilitate student internships?
- Recruits and trains students in computer networking basics.
- Enlists businesses to participate in our Student Internship Program.
- Matches students who excel in our programs with paid internships at large and small businesses where they can gain relevant experience in a professional working environment.
- Seeks grants and donations from corporations, charitable foundations and individuals to help subsidize our student internships at small businesses.
